This will be 4 x 1-hr virtual event with Margaret Sweete - Educator with Husqvarna Viking. Each session will cover a different technique.
Learn tips and tricks for inserting zippers and selecting the best buttonhole style for your projects, plus many more time saving tips to achieve professional looking projects. All of these techniques are used in home decor as well as garment sewing, and can easily be mastered by anyone!
All sessions start at 7:30pm sharp

Instructor Bio: | Margaret Sweete has been working as a SVP Canada Freelance Educator for over 15 years, Her creative passion started at the age of 10 with sewing garments and quilting. She started sewing on her Mom?s SINGER? and graduated to her own machine when she went away to University. As the years have gone by, she expanded her interest to include everything from garment sewing to quilting and software to embroidery. Margaret has many exquisite samples that show various techniques and sewing products. You can see some of Margaret?s original projects in A Needle Pulling Thread magazine. Whenever she has traveled, she has looked for classes, stores, textile museums and other inspiration to enrich her knowledge of fabric and sewing techniques, whether it be by hand or machine. Margaret loves to share the tricks and techniques she has picked up along the way and she is very excited about the latest technology, which is expanding the Sewing Industry today. |
